We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Power Service Supervisor

Location: Agbara, Ogun

Job Purpose

  • To ensure constant supply of compressed air to the plant and maintenance of all power service equipment and machines for effective production.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures that power service equipment (HP compressors, air dryers, diesel generators, gas engines, and turbines) are properly maintained and available for use when required.
  • Creates a maintenance schedule and ensures that equipment is inspected on a regular basis.
  • Oversees the contractor in charge of the plant’s gas station.
  • Ensures availability of machine spares parts by placing orders timely.
  • Supervises various jobs being carried out by team members and organizes daily job schedules.
  • Liaises with the Technical Service Manager for daily administration of the department.
  • Ensure employees comply with relevant Quality Management System (QMS), food safety, Occupational Health and Safety Assessment Series (OHSAS) & Environmental Management System (EMS) policies and procedures.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • 5-7 years’ experience in bottle manufacturing plant
  • Good communication skills – oral and written
  • Leadership and time management skills
  • Use of Microsoft offices – MS Excel, MS Words and Power Point
  • Good report writing skills
  • Expert in turbine and compressor installation and maintenance
